Non-translation services

Please tell us about yourself and the goals you want to achieve. Hourly fees for specialist work are usually in the range of EUR 80–90.

Other items

Standby

We can offer standby service at a reduced rate, typically in the range of EUR 40–50 per hour. This allows you to ensure beforehand that we will be available for you at your chosen time, should you need us. If active work becomes necessary, we simply switch from standby to active rates. The standby service is subject to availability — please book early!

After hours

We may be able to perform urgent work between 17:00 and 9:00 local time (15:00–7:00 UTC during standard time, 14:00–6:00 UTC during DST), as well as on Saturdays, Sundays and holidays. A 100 per cent surcharge applies to such work.

Expenses

Whatever the pricing basis, we will charge you separately for any expenses (such as application fees) paid on your behalf.

Value added tax

When we deliver a service to a business's office in Finland or to a consumer client whose domicile is within the European Union, we are normally required to collect VAT. From 1 July 2010, the VAT rate is usually 23 per cent. Authoring work may be exempt from VAT.

If you are a business client based within the European Union but outside Finland, please be sure to provide us with your VAT number so that we will not need to collect tax on your behalf.

Payments

You may make advance as well as invoice payments either to our bank account in Finland or by credit card. Unfortunately, we cannot accept any other payment method.

Credit cards

We accept American Express, MasterCard (excluding Maestro) and Visa, including Electron. Please contact us if you require details on how to pay. Please do not send your credit card information by email.
